Q. What is Sound Proofing?

A. Sound proofing or sound insulation involves efforts to stop sound at a noisy area from travelling into another noise sensitive area. It normally requires a form of barrier which is used to prevent the travel of noise. In a building the barrier would normally be a wall, window or door.
