Q. What is Sound Absorption?

A. Sound absorption, as its name suggests, is the process of absorbing sound. This is done by using selective materials to dissipate sound energy. A material that has high sound absorption reflects very little sound and vice versa. Sound absorption techniques are often employed to control internal sound reflections to reduce reverberation within a space.
