SOUND-STAGING | Page 1 | 2 | 3

In order to attain good sound-staging, front and side wall reflections of the loudspeakers must be minimized. This can be achieved by installing sound absorptive panels such as FabriTAC™ or PyroTAC™ to the wall areas.

In addition to improving sound-staging, the FabriTAC™ acoustic absorber panels also improve other aspects of the acoustics of the listening room. The overall reverberance or "liveliness" is controlled when sound absorptive materials are introduced. Without these absorbers, the listening room would tend to sound too "live"; similar to the acoustics in a completely empty room or in a sports hall. When treated with sound absorbing panels, the clarity of sound will consequently improve and more details will be heard.
