RESONAC-M's water-based viscoelastic compound is lightweight and easily applied using spray equipment or trowel on metal panels with complex shapes and profiles. RESONAC-M is environmentally friendly, UV and water resistant, and is non- combustible. It can be spayed or rolled onto the underside of the cladding, on site or at the roof manufacturers' premises and has excellent adhesive qualities to both steel and aluminium surface. It is fast drying and cures to a hard finish. As it is water-based, it is easy to apply and clean.

There is little additional weight to the roof as it forms only a thin coating of 0.7mm to 1.0mm thickness. As RESONAC-M adheres to the metal roofing sheet to form a monolithic coating with the steel surface, it provides effective noise reduction at source through damping the resonance of steel sheet under impact, thereby minimize the rain impact radiated sound to the surroundings.
