OUR SERVICES | ACOUSTIC DESIGN External Sound Insulation - This covers control of exterior noise including traffic, rail, aircraft and rain noise to building interior areas. Detailed on-site measurements are carried out to assess the existing noise levels. An appropriate acoustical specification and any acoustic treatment necessary can then be incorporated into the building facade technical specification.
Internal Fit-Out of Building - This item refers to the acoustical design for the control of noise transmission between adjacent rooms to achieve the required levels of sound insulation and privacy. The various building elements such as partitions, ceiling, doors, seals and junction details are designed and specified to achieve the sound insulation criteria or privacy levels required by the client. Speech privacy and crosstalk attenuation via the air-conditioning system and light fittings would also be reviewed.
