Schematic Planning Prior to the schematic phase, a series of consultation sessions will be performed with the client and end users to establish the functional and spatial requirements of the facility. The schematic planning phase is used to consolidate and clarify the client's requirements and to translate such requirements into a spatial concept and layout plan. The most efficient and cost effective use of space will be integrated at this stage to fulfill the client's requirement, wherever feasible.
